Just finished the book. What a story of a rather dysfunctional family! Our parents can really mess us up!

My first Anne Tyler novel. I liked it, a story about a family which doesn't work like a family - and what comes of it. Especially the relationship with two brothers in a fatherless family with a dominant mother is troublesome to read.
I didn't like all those markings someone has made on the pages of this book.
