My first Jill Mansell ! I've been 'planning' on reading something written by her for so long ....I just couldn't resist taking this book home with me...
Well, ... I -practically - HAD to because Dettie said we had to take as much home as we brought with us, so I am completely innocent of being bookgreedy , I was forced to take all these lovely books against my will. Imagine my suffering LOL
I will make up for it, by looking for nice new homes for them :-) and read and love all of them every single page, I'm already sure of that !
And Castricum was just awesome. All those lovely ladies, all those lovely books, great goat cheese+bacon+honey +focaccia-sandwiches :-) ... mmmmm (books not being my only weak point :))))

Wow, thanks for this. I have been wanting to read this book for absolutely ages, but just never got around to buying. Thanks also for the lovely hat and gloves for my little girl - she was so pleased.

Putting into the chicklit bookbox

As I do like gardening I just could not resist this book. Unfortunately, for me I also could not resist it on tbr and so, no sooner was it out of the box than it was being read. This was a quick, easy read and before I knew it the book was finished.

This is not an author I have read many books from before and this example will not have me racing to the bookshelves looking for her either. Nonetheless, the plot (such as it was) was very easy to follow and in some places very predictable, but still I had a sneaking liking for it! Perhaps it was the gardening, perhaps it was the mix of characters, perhaps it was just meant to be .... who knows, but this was enjoyed and is going back in the box to carry on to another.
