Raining Cats & Dogs (Melanie Travid Mystery)
3 journalers for this copy...
Melanie Travis has her hands full these days, what with adding a husband and three more dogs to her already cramped home. The advanced obedience training for her dog Faith is a welcome respite from the stresses of house hunting-until murder forces Melanie to the head of the class...

A Hardcover from Auntdia, looks like it's a funny one. Will read very soon...more later.
I'm visiting my sister up north, in May. She and hubby are poodle lovers and maybe I can get her interested in bookcrossing. If not, this hardcover from Auntdia will be released in north Germany that month.
As an afterthought I think I might give this book a second or third chance, seeing I won't be traveling to my sister's town until the end of May. As a child with 5 siblings we were surrounded by woods and the powerlines off to one side of our house. We always had a variety of animals, mostly cats, birds, rabbits, tadpoles, a racoon, a baby monkey, (rats and fleas- a joke !) , but never a dog. Yet another reason to read this funny looking tale and since I've never read anything Auntdia has sent my way.
Although I'm not into animal mysteries I will credit this book a fat 7 rating. I've had this book for so long and finally did give it an honest try. Along with enjoying a mystery murder investigation I learned unknown facts on Agility and Obediance courses, and a bit about poodle care, types and personalities. Thanks Auntdia !
I sent this hardcover to my sister up north this morning. She is definately a poodle owner and lover.

My sister who lives down in Bavaria gave me this book to read many years ago. At the time I had so many other books that I still wanted to read and finally read this book a week ago. It's a cute little story and I especially enjoyed it seeing I have two toy poodle girls, who I groom myself and I also worked as a dog groomer for many years.

My sister down in Bavaria gave me this book a long time ago and yesterday I left it downtown in Overath where I live, and put it in the book selection box that is available at the train station. Anyone who is interested can choose a book from the selection box so I hope there is another poodle lover out there who will enjoy this book as much as I did.
