Picked up at some time over the convention - I'm starting to lose track of the days...

Thank you for releasing this book, Skyring - I'd never read any Orson Scott Card before, and I've just discovered that I was missing out on an excellent author! I really enjoyed this book - it explores some fascinating ideas about war, childhood, genius, and the difference between games and reality. There's not a lot I can say about the story without giving away too many spoilers - I really think this is a book to approach without too many preconceived ideas about what it's about.
The sequel, Speaker for the Dead, was in the m-bag from nekki2976 that arrived last week, so I'm looking forward to reading that.

Picked up at a book-crossing meet and finshed reading it the same day. An SF classic.
