***Please Note***
When re-releasing this book please be aware that airports are not a good place to leave books unless they have a specific book exchange shelf or area, due to security problems, so they may well just be disposed of.
**** Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option. ****

More talking animals than Beatrix Potter and C. S. Lewis, which is a bit confusing at first, but once you work out who's human and who's animal, great fun! If I come across any more of Joyce Fussey's books I would certainly read them.

Merry Christmas and a better New Year 2021! Hopefully it will soon be safe to come over to Yorkshire again, but in the meanwhile I will visit it via books. Or telly, they began to show the sheep farming family Owen on Finnish television yesterday. New version on All Creatures Great and Small is also on telly.
I'm currently in Wisconsin following Laura Ingalls Wilder's life.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Another book for Elisabeth's first-aid bag of books. Trying to put together a bit of this and that, so there will be something for every mood. Like me, Elisabeth likes rural Britain, Yorkshire in particular.
As I haven't read the book yet, it will return to me afterwards. Elisabeth hasn't got a computer, but writes real letters. If only Deltic could supply her with pretty stationery... Anyhow, I will journal her comments when they arrive.
Oops, the picture went sideways. Elisabeth showing one of her treasured books.

I never knew that farming could be just entering from one catastrophe to another! It is written as if it were hilarious, but I surely would not want to be in their shoes.
Returns to Kirjakko when I've read all the books.

Cows have returned to pasture in Lauttasaari. Except everything is covered with a fresh layer of snow and tomorrow will be freezing cold...

I can see what Elisabeth meant by saying disaster after another - I missed an introduction of the family, because I was never sure who was a bullock and who a male member of the family. The writer just speeded from one mishap to the next and wasn't even particularly funny telling these. I gave up on page 22.

Having my evening tea in Fregatti Bistro in the same shopping mall - because it has around 15 meters of BC-books on its walls... And what do I spy with my little eye? Cows have moved to graze here. I'm letting them ruminate in peace, but will make a new release note to get the cordinates right.
