I was introduced to bookcrossing by a friend (tonyp40) whilst running the church bookstall.
I must admit, at first, that I thought of it as just a fun way to move on some of the surplus books from the stall.

Having placed a few books on my wishlist, I was surprised, a few months later to receive a PM from souram, offering me Blue At The Mizzen by Patrick O’Brian. I then discovered that I had a copy of a book that he was looking for!

I have taken part in an Easter Bookcrossing and “Christmas in July” organized by nattabee.

I have taken part in several “Smile Day Sweepstakes”.

I won the “UK Smile Day Sweepstake” for May 2010.

I now organise Yorkshire Day Exchange every August 1st.

I enjoy historical novels, biographies, and historical (mostly) mysteries.

I am also interested in railways. Our house is always full of books (never enough bookshelves)!

I was formerly a chef and my wife was a nurse. We now work from home running our own network marketing business with the British greeting card company Flamingo Paperie. This gives us a lot more time to see each other and of course time to read more books! We can help you to do the same.
