This book was kindly sent to me by Watchcat. It is for my 20 year old punk rocker son to read. He doesn't read much, but likes to read true accounts of survival, hardship, and escape. This looks to be right up his alley. He just finished reading my copy of The Endurance, a wonderfully illustrated account of Shackleton's epic journey, written by Caroline Alexander.

I'm not sure when he'll read The Hard Way - so please be patient while waiting for that next another journal entry!
