The story of Rune, a tavern wench's daughter, who dreams of becoming a bard. She is very talented, but lacks formal training. To back up a boast she wouldn't have mad if she wasn't so mad, she goes to play her fiddle for the Ghost of Skull Hill. If the ghost tires of her playing before morning, her life is his, but if he is still listening at sunrise, she will win both her life and a sack of silver. And that is only the beginning of her adventure.
