I have had this book a long time; published in 1992. I decided to share it with whomever is interested as it is a good collection of stories about relationships. Pam Houston has an interesting perspective that makes you feel the uncertainty, joy, confusion, elation and settling that happens, sometimes all at once(!) within a relationship.

Please email if you are interested.

at long last, I picked this book from my shelves and read it in two days - I stay in touch with my old cowboy but our relationship has mellowed into a friendship from the fiery passion there for several years. He shared many of the cowboy qualities Pam Houston explores so well in this collection of short stories...however, like so many it was destined to fail. I'm passing this book on as a RABCK to another bxer.

I loved this one - I could identify with characters in practically every story...My favorite was the first one about talking to a hunter...it just rang way too true...it had me laughing straight through it...thanks again for sharing this one...it will be passed along sometime soon!! :O)

Enjoyable group of short stories about women of all backgrounds in love with the maverick cowboy... If you've ever had a relationship with a man you just couldn't quite rope in all the way you'll appreciate this collection.
