Atlantis

Mix in: A scrap of papyrus that may contain an account of the lost city of Atlantis, a team of marine archeologists, Kazakhstan terrorists and a multicountry fight over a missing Soviet nuclear submarine.
Publisher's Weekly says: "It's thrilling stuff for sure, but the story limps along on complicated, exposition-heavy science that's doled out much too slowly (characters walk each other—often and at length—through their particular areas of expertise as the plot requires).... The historical conspiracy angle gives the book Da Vinci-esque appeal, but if history and science lectures aren't your cup of Dramamine, you might want to give this one a pass."

I was walking to work on 36th street & found this book on a railing. I plan on releasing the book in the city or on the train on my way to the city.

I found the book sitting by itself at a table in a Dunkin Donuts. All the while I was eating I kept looking over at it...it seemed lonely so I introduced myself and brought it home to New Jersey where I live. We spend breakfast together every morning before I go to work (at the local library) and an hour together before dinner. I've been enjoying the time that we're spending together. The book is a worthy successor to the novels of Clive Cussler (who writes books on underwater archeology). Not sure where this new friend would like to go next...on vacation with me?
