It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

This is a wonderful book. I love this passage from the back:
"The universe is in desperate peril. Due to a cluster of freakish phenomena, the United States' own defense system has become a perfect doomsday machine, threatening the entire universe. And only one man can save everything-as-we-know-it from annihilation.
Unfortunately, he's not available."
This book is extremely funny, often heroic, and stars a group that at first seems LEAST likely to save the world. This group includes two dozen busloads of ex-hippies and freaks, Robert Heinlein's wandering cat, a whorehouse parrot, a talking dog, misunderstood genius-inventor Nikola Tesla (who is alive and well), a superintelligent toddler, a blind ex-cop, the world's worst driver, a former bum turned real-estate agent, and many more. I've enjoyed everything I've ever read by Spider.
This book caused me to buy three other books, "The Deep Blue Good-by" by John D. MacDonald, whose literary monument is mentioned in the book, "Steel Beach" By John Varley, who is mentioned in the book, and "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls" by Robert A. Heinlein, to read more about Pixel.
I also like the opening quote from Philip K. Dick "Reality is what doesn't go away when you stop believing in it."
