I got it!

Journal Entry 5 by twinkpuddin from Seattle, Washington USA on Monday, January 30, 2006
Despite the bad reviews this book seemed to be getting I really didn't think it was all that bad. I like the authors' writing style and it was a pretty fun distracting read. I would have to say though I felt let down by the end. I guess I was just expecting it to go somewhere else.

I have Karenlea's address and hope to get the book out soon! Thanks KarenZero for sharing!!

Caught!!! I am in a bit of a book ray/ring flurry right now, it's third in line. However, I am a very fast reader and I jope to start it within a week. Thank You!!!

I loved "The Nannie Diaries" and was very excited to read this book. I was very dissapointed. I disliked all of the characters and the plot was just ridiculous. That being said, I would still give Kraus and McLaughlins next book a chance.

I will be mailing the book out in a few hours!!!

Journal Entry 9 by morpha from Astoria, Oregon USA on Wednesday, March 1, 2006
I open the book instantly upon arrival - with a first chapter named "Doris Mindfuck" I know I'm going to have a good read. Another plucky post-college early-career doormat who finally geta a clue. Gotta love it!

Journal Entry 10 by morpha from Astoria, Oregon USA on Sunday, April 2, 2006
Sorry folks, I finished this book long ago, but it got mislaid when I moved my office from closet to kitchen.
Unlike many other readers, I loved this book, found it to be hilarious! Oh, man is Girl a doormat...at least at first.
After getting fired by a boss she hates, Girl lands a mystery job that pays well, but she never quite knows what she is supposed to do. She wings it with great skill, but is a bit of a suck-up imoho.

WARNING SPOILER COMING!

I had a great belly laugh to find out the great secret of our society: our economy runs on porn. When you boil it all down, everything is about porn! Ha, ha, ha. And we women thought that we were liberated, that we were accepted as equals in the workplace. Personal experience and this book say no!

This book has just arrived and I will start it tonight. I'm so excited!

I think this poor book may have to travel to the lost book island!

Journal Entry 14 by Foucault from Edison, New Jersey USA on Friday, April 13, 2007
Not so fast, KarenZero!

I'm a very bad BookCrosser...very bad!

I've had this book a very long time. Unfortunately, I got a bit burned out
with lots of things going on at once, and I just dropped the ball as far as BookCrossing is concerned. Now I'm trying to make good.

So, I shall contact the next in line, and the next until I find someone who wants to take this from me, even after this
length of time.

My apologies for holding this up for such a long time - it's still worth reading! I do agree with others before me, though.

UPDATE 4/13/07: Contacted sweetpea0678
UPDATE 4/19/07: sweetpea0678 didn't respond to PM, so I'll contact valerief

Just opening up my stack of mail that's been waiting for me. Hoping to get to this during my summer vacation and beach reading. Thanks for sending!

While preparing to release this (to an unsuspecting coworker in another office), I found a photo from the 1983 Cambrian PAL Fire Eagles girls soccer team. If this is yours, please PM me and I will mail it back to you.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This seemed a little far-fetched to me. I'm curious if this company ever really existed or if people are really willing to overlook morals to such extremes just for a buck. The Nanny Diaries was much more realistic and humorous, and the drunk hookup scene was really bizarre. Basically, it's cotton candy for the brain.

I found this book in my coffee shop while I was waiting on laundry to finish. I wasn't going to do laundry as I didn't have a book with me and then I found this book in the coffee shop. Its a silly little book, I read Nanny Diaries and thought the same thing. It was however EXACTLY what I needed at the time. Cool that this type of thing exists.
