Is That It?

Written in 1986, just after "Live Aid", we are taken through Geldof's early life and his time with the "Boomtown Rats". We are then witness to his horror at the famine in Africa and how he decided to do something to help.
Interesting and entertaining whilst thought provoking. Worth the read.

I have to be honest and I skipped a lot of the beginning of this, I just couldn't seem to get into the story of Geldof's life. I read everything surrounding Band Aid and Live Aid and found it an utterly fascinating look at the formation and the work Geldof put into this. It was thought-provoking but also melancholic to read as, in reality, after almost 20 years, the situation in Africa doesn't seem to have improved all that much.
