Hello everyone!
I just created an account and hopefully those first steps here will be fun - and they are!:)
Of course I'm a big books lover. When I was young I didn't read a lot, but when finally started at about age 15 it was a love from the first sight. At first I was introduced by my mother to Agatha Christie's books and read almost all of them (It's funny because now I don't really like detective novels). Then I started with fantasy - another big love: Tolkien, Pratchett, Gaiman, Sapkowski, Lem, Dukaj. Now I'm getting more into classics. I made myself a challenge to read at least one book by all the authors that received Nobel prize in literature - there are a lot of them, I know, but maybe someday I will acomplish that.
I'm also a medicine student, postcrosser (https://www.postcrossing.com/user/marulaPL), stamps and bookmarks collector, amateur cook and hiker.
For birthday group, what I like:
-books - form my wishlist or maybe a book that you liked, especially on fantasy/science-fiction genre or written by Nobel prize winner; you can also look at my goodreads account to see what I read: my read shelf:

-bookmarks - I collect them:)
-BookCrossing supplies - I just started the BC adventure and would be very happy to get some labels or stickers.
-stationery - notepads, notebooks, pencils, envelopes, letters writing supplies, stickers or something to decorate postcard and letters that I like sending
-postcards,
-sweets and chocolate from your country
-tea bags - I'm a bit addicted to drinking tea;)
-a recipe -I would love to try cooking some dishes from foreign countries
-small pictures of saints or icons reproductions
-mini cosmetics, free samples - handcream, body lotions, lip balms (not makeup)
-a map of your country/region
-suprises =)
-I like to write and read letters, so if you feel like sharing some stories with me I would love it.
- anything related to: science, medcine, faith, animated movies (my favourites are shrek, lion king, moomins, winnie the pooh), cats and dogs, coffee, mountains!, travelling, board games, Lord of the Rings, music, cooking.
