I am a retired dentist-3 sons & 4 grandchildren. I studied art at the Penna. Academy of Art in the evenings during the 80's, while still in practice. I have also been a violinist for many years, and play for community musical groups...back in the 60's, while in the USNavy I played in the Savanna Symphony Orchestra. I took to writing in 1990, and after a brief correspondence with the famous author I.B.Singer, I began writing short stories, then in 1997 I wrote my first novel. Both books can be ordered from major book stores. These 2 books are the ones I want to get into the world via your wonderful idea of book crossings.

I've taught English as a second language to Russian Immigrants, and currently teach a writing course at a local Barnes& Noble...also monitor a group of writers at a local Borders Book Store.
