I've read one of these Laura Childs books before, the first one, I think. So when I saw this one listed as released at the Meetup day before yesterday, I stopped to pick it up!
I love rampallion's comment about the book!
On its way to Jean-Sol in Australia
Books seem to be travelling to Australia so fast at the moment! This one only took a week to reach me. I'd never heard of Laura Childs or the Tea Shop Mysteries before I joined the Tea Coffee and Desserts VBB but having read all the reviews I cannot wait to read that book. As Earl Grey is my favourite tea flavour this title is a logical start for me.Thank you mssaver for sending it to me and special thank you for the 'matching' teabags - unexpected and a wonderful surprise! I'll be sipping them and thinking of you down here in Melbourne.
Finally read this book as I was a quick light read. It fitted the bill! I did like the whole Charleston historic district setting - never thought about Charleston beyond Gone with the Wind before but now I want to go and visit. Also made me want to drink tea, or rather lots of teas! I think it's ready to travel again.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
To be released at the BC meetup.
Very much enjoyed this one, although I couldn't help but think that if it was released more recently they would have called it '50 Shades of Earl Grey'....
This made me think very differently about tea, I have never been much of a tea drinker but I have recently started to enjoy chai. All of the different descriptions make me think I need to become more adventurous and try many more flavours.
An enjoyable read, thanks to all who passed it my way. It will be going to the International BookCrossing convention at the weekend in Melbourne.

If a book has the word “mystery” on the cover, I must have it. What is this one about?
Indigo Tea Shop owner Theodosia Browning is finally invited to a social event that she doesn’t have to cater but there’s more than champagne bubbling Theo is mingling with the cream of Charleston society at the engagement soiree of the season, but as they eagerly await the dazzling young couple’s arrival the groom meets with a freak accident. The exquisite wedding ring, a family heirloom from the crown of Marie Antoinette, is mysteriously missing. Theodosia suspects that trouble is brewing, but when she goes to the authorities, they treat her like she s been reading tea leaves and that’s the surest way to put Theodosia’s kettle on the boil

At first I thought this is just America's Agatha Raisin, but it is actually better, though not exactly thrilling. For culinary mysteries, I prefer those by Diane Mott Davidson.

Release #4 for 2017 ...
Goodness me this little book has travelled a long way in the past six years, all the way from Illinois. It can rest a while in Templestowe before resuming its travels.
Nicely written whodunnit that kept me guessing until the end. Enjoyable read.
Will release this at the meet-up.
