It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
2 journalers for this copy...
1973 Knopf hardcover Revised Edition, with dust jacket, of the 1964 classic tale, illustrated by Joseph Schindelman. This copy has considerable mold damage on the cover, and a bit inside the seam. I found this copy yesterday in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1948 Sometime Never: A Fable for Supermen [n/a]
1948 Man from the South (short story) [read 2012]
1953 Lamb to the Slaughter (short story) [read 2013]
1959 A Fine Son (short story in Playboy) [read 2014]
1961 James and the Giant Peach [read 2018]
Edit September 20, 2020: I loved this tale. I am sure I must have read it once as a child. It is still as delightful. I currently have this ranked at #1992 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

We picked up this copy at one of the little library huts in our neighborhood. It was the first big "chapter" book we read out load to our 5 year old and he loved it, we finished in a week. Of course he got to watch the movie afterwards, and like I always say... The book was better!
