Finding this quite difficult to absorb.will press on
Ohhh, this is such a hard read for me. I like my classics and i like a bit of philosophy but this is giving me a headache. I know Hesse is one of the greats, perhaps i should have gone with Steppenwolfe, but this must go to a better home than mine. Best wishes flow to the next reader. Might leave it in the Sixth Form College..younger,more alert & intelligent readers!!

Excellent in every respect. It was a book that made me explore beyond the realm of the book itself, into philosophy and music. It also made me ask questions myself about my own understanding of the world. Highly recommend.
