I really love this series and hope this nice hardcover gets to know a lot of readers. I read this some months ago but forgot to journal it, so admittedly I no longer remember much about the story line. Of course, Ms. Harry Haristeen and her animal companions (the cats Mrs. Murphy and Pewter, the corgi Tee Tucker.... and often other animals about her farm... are all endowed with speech among themselves and manage to save Harry while helping her figure out the crime). This was a gift from my daughter, and she always encourages me to share via bookcrossing!

Arrived safely (with Goscinny) :) I'm sure I've read something of this author before but I just can't remember which titles they were (d'oh). But a mystery or detective, AND with cats involved, how could one not love them? Cat mysteries go perfectly any time, or especially between the bit more heavier detectives or spies...
I'm planning to read this one before or during the journey to Europe in around September, as I can think of a few mystery+cat lovers over there would love this after me...
Thank you for the rabck MmeClinton ♥

I wasn't sure what to read next so it was time for this one. Awww... cats and mysteries, don't those two always go together? There were some components in the story that were a but more religious than expected (other than the first victims being monks from a monastery) but as it's a story happening around the Christmas, it kind of fits there. And the kitty and dog dialogs are adorable.
Santa Clawed is definitely coming with me in Europe for a release there well before Christmas. :)

It is always so nice to be a courier and eat from the load! Oh, I mean read from the load. Luckily I had almost a week for that. I'll finish the book on the train tomorrow.

I have read two or three books of this series before and I could not resist the temptation. The story is nice and the drawings are adorable. Thanks!

This book is #89 in my Keep Them Moving 2010 Challenge arranged by Guinaveve.

Thank you! Two of the best things combined:cats & the christmas-time! :D

Journal Entry 8 by MiuM at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland on Saturday, December 4, 2010
This was an interesting mystery, though there were moments it seemed to go on too slow.
I really loved though the way the animals, especially the cats participated in solving the case.
Cats and christmas are the two C:s I like the best.
