Finished this under the duvet during the weekend. I enjoyed all the stories related to travelling experiences. Also got a hint of one travel magazine I had never heard before. On the other hand I was not fully able to relate to the funniness of shopaholic and make-up stories, but it did not matter so much. In the end the book got more irrational mixing Mammy Walsh's help columns with real charity matters and then after jumping on some independent short stories those felt like persistantly pushed to be included in this book no matter did they belong to it or not.

This book will now continue to Kemppu.

This collection wasn't as good as Marian Keyes' first column/short story collection Under the Duvet. However, it was as easy-to-read book, good for reading just before going to sleep or in a city bus. I do like Keyes' writing style.
Since I'm not interested in fashion and make-up and stuff like that I didn't care much of the stories about those topics. The travelling stories were better, especially the one called Queen of Earplugs which I could really relate to. I also liked all the three stories in the part called But seriously. The short stories weren't that good, in my opinion. There was something in A Moment of Grace and The Truth Is Out There and the realization in Wishing Carefully was pretty funny, but in general, the stories were just blah blah blah. Mammy Walsh's Problem Pages weren't my thing at all.
So, a lot of irrelevant stuff and a couple of gems in this book for me. It was worth checking out.

Ok. I just can not finish this book. I just can't relate any of these stories. I tried from the beginning. No. I skimmed through and read bits here and there. No. I've kept this book for ages so definitely time to move on. Hope someone who is fond of chick-lit finds this. :)
