I bought this book on a whim and then felt guilty for spending money. I immediatly got my friend to write a note on the front cover as if it were a birthday present, so that my fiance would not suspect I had spent money. (We were DIRT poor at the time.) Later I felt completely guilty about having faked this message, so I whited it out.
You may notice the white out on the front cover.
It's an intriguing and interesting book. I never finished it so maybe someone can tell me how it ended. I was quite interested in the book while I was reading it...
