It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

It’s a very pleasant read. Not surprisingly, the narrative follows closely to what’s in the documentaries, but in a way that’s a disappointment as I felt with the book Palin had the chance to delve deeper into the whats and whys and emotions of his journey than the television series would allow. But, it’s an excellent read just the same, and Palin’s sense of fun and adventure comes through on many occasions.

My thanks to Alan for sending it...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was engrossed from page one!!I had only seen a couple in the tv series, but this book brought it to life, and made me want to do something! Michael Palin would be an excellent travelling companion, great sense of humour. Thankyou very much for including me in this ring.

It will be winging it's way to CaterinaAnna on Monday.

... & recieved on Wednesday, but I was out that evening & had a migrane on Thursday, hence the delay in acknowledging receipt.

However, the recovery day today means that I have read it already. How do all you people remember the series so well? Have you got it on DVD or what? I had vague if any memories of it, so enjoyed the book. It was an easy read, but I couldn't help noticing things that might have changed in the interim - Hong kong for a start. Definitely induced wanderlust, especially after nearly 48 housebound hours!

To go to tontowilliams as soon as I have his address ...
