Outstanding. Auster at his best

A book about loneliness, death and friendship mainly, but also about family ties, falling in love with known or unknown people, Brooklyn, religion(s), literature, forgery, silent little girls and little sparks of magic. And one aspect that I think its new in Auster's books: it has several bits of humour scattered along the story!

This is one of the best Auster's works and, undoubtedly, the best book of the year (so far)
