I bought this because it tells the story of a younger Quinlan Vos, who is rapidly becoming a favorite character of mine. As well, he has some interactions with Obi-Wan and I'd like to see the two of them together.

All right, I can admit it: I have a crush on a comic book character and his name is Quinlan Vos. I bought this because I wanted to see young Quin, before his rather covoluted history as an adult. It was also fun to see him interact with Obi-Wan, and especially neat to get a glimpse into how the other Masters see Qui-Gon. I've never been a fan, as I never thought he was particularly noteworthy in the first film, so every bit of characterization helps me.

These comics were drawn in a cartoon style very different from the other graphic novels I've read, but all in all, this was a fun read. And it just made me want to read more about Quin. I think that officially makes me a comic geek. Heh.
