Having recently bought new bookshelves, I am culling my TBR pile to get all my books to fit. Heh! This one has been awaiting avid re-reading far too long. Perhaps somebody else can lose themselves in its pages...

Annotation
Janelle Taylor returns to her most thrilling love story of all--the passion of Jana Greyson and Commander Varian Saar, first ignited in The New York Times bestseller Moondust and Madness. Jana awakens from a drugged sleep to find herself the captive bride of her beloved's evil half-brother--who insists that Varian is about to wed another. In a universe cloaked in stardust and shadows, can Jana ever hope to know the truth?

I'm meeting Alejanda and Sobergirl today to hand over some books for the bookcrossers of Jyväskylä and Pori. I'll take this book along too, to wild-release at the cafe here in Turku unless one of the people I'm meeting would particularly like it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

A few bookcrossers are meeting at this café at 3.30. I'll offer this book to them, but if nobody wants it we'll wild-release it!

EDIT: We left it at the feet of the Nana (by Niki de Saint-Phalle) - the one piece of modern art you can see without paying the museum entrance fee. (You can also see some of the medieval city ruins from the cafe without entering the museum.)

I hasten to add that the museum is well worth the entry price. But I appreciate the fact that you can see glimpses for free - and especially that what is free is the Nana - I have always *loved* the Nanas!! Thank you Sobergirl for taking this picture with her camera phone!

FURTHER UPDATE: After releasing the book we saw two women stop to look at it. I think they were museum employees. They moved the book so it was no longer obscuring the title of the work, but recognized the BC logo, and left the book at the base of the statue for some reader to collect. Thank you!

Journal Entry 7 by Makari from Siilinjärvi, Pohjois-Savo / Norra Savolax Finland on Friday, June 20, 2008
Well, I found the book two days ago and took it with me to Siilinjärvi. It was in Aboe Vetus Ars Nova Museum in Turku among the leaflets and travel and culture brochures near the rack in entrance. I think, that it was easier to me to recognize it as a circulating book because I'm an 'experienced bookcrosser', but still it was a real free and wild catch.

The book looks and sounds a little too pink and romantic for my taste, but I think I can release it somewhere here in Siilinjärvi.

Kirja on kulkenut näköjään jo pitkän matkan, Intiasta asti.
