It was my sister who actually caught this book at the postal boxes downstairs in the building where she worked, on Oxford in Darlinghurst. I had heard of book crossings before from reading an article and, as we were both avid books readers, I mentioned this novel concept to her but it never crossed my mind that we would come across one of these books.

Just scanning down below at the other comments, have noticed that this book likes to stay around the Oxford St precinct! I guess it has close ties with the Sydney eastern suburbs region, especially in the novel. Its nice to have a book written about places close to home which we can all identify with.

As for the book: it was truely quite a touching and inspirational story of the way someone lived with their struggle. I cant remember ever ploughing through a 670 page book in less than 2 days.

Weird fact: I am connect to the person in the novel by 3 degrees.
