1968 Bantam paperback, with a 75 cents cover price, of the 1967 bittersweet tale of young love. I found this worn copy today in the Magee Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1957 from the Temple of Gold (short story) [read 2018]
1964 from Boys and Girls Together (short story) [read 2020]
Edit January 27, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It runs short. I currently have this ranked at #3194 on my ranked list of best-read books lately. This is very old and worn, but still fairly readable, and it's a tiny book, so I won't purge it yet. Plus, I really like the cover art illustration, with a double nude portrait of lovers.
I can let this go after I read:
