I've actually never read anything by Farley Mowat. Does that make me a bad Canadian?

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Hello - this is a bookcrossing book.
Bookcrossing books travel around making new friends along the way. You can join it's journey by making a journal entry here.
You have not only found yourself a good book, but a whole community of booklovers dedicated to sharing books with each other and the world. I hope you'll stick around a bit and get to know BookCrossing --maybe even make a journal entry on this book.
You may choose to remain anonymous or to join (its free!) Feel free to read and keep this book or pass it along to someone else. If you do choose to join and journal, you'll be alerted by email each time someone makes another journal entry then you can follow its travels.
It's all confidential (you're known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address), free, and spam-free.
Happy reading! Join us in making the whole world a library, won't you?

I found this book in Burlington or Oakville most likely in a Little Free Library.
'Got this at a meetup in Hamilton last weekend. I enjoyed "The Dog Who Wouldn't Be" and the movie "Never Cry Wolf". Mowat's wife also wrote a good book about living in a Newfoundland outport.
This could be enjoyable at a cottage ( I'll be visiting a friend's cottage this week-end).
