1960s Popular Library paperback, with a 60 cents cover price, of the 1942 tale. I found this copy today in the Maxwell Park Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1934 Island Magic [n/a]
1935 The Middle Window [n/a]
1936 City of Bells [n/a]
1941 The Castle on the Hill [n/a]
Edit March 4, 2021: I think this was okay for a short little love story, but I just skimmed it to end for time. I currently have this ranked at #1603 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
