Caught in Wellington City at One Red Dog while meeting with Wellington Bookcrossers.
I have read another book by this author picked up some years ago when I was in Shakespeare's book shop in Paris. The author's name was new to me so although I had a strict buying limit on that day I couldn't resist. Hope this one will be as good as I remember.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book even thought I didn't write a JE at the time I read it.
Was delighted to find someone in OZ who has it on their wishlist so it will be in the post to judygreeneyes tomorrow.
Please take this as a 'controlled release' entry.

Arrived today in the mail. How exciting!
I am halfway through another book at the moment, but this one is going to be up next.
I always feel sorry for the rest of the books on my TBR pile. Some of them keep getting pushed down the list. That's their fault for not being granted from my wish list.
Thank you for this treasure Sherlockfan. Now to edit my wishlist.

I loved this book! I think the main reason is because I also suffer from amnesia and could absolutely relate to the feelings the main character was experiencing. One of the things that rang true was even though he had no way of knowing why things happened or his motivations, his FEELING around it was certain. The memory of something can be completely absent, but bizarrely your feelings and impressions of it can remain.
This was only Michael Robotham's second novel. Since then he has gone on to write dozens more. I think I have read a couple of others, and will definitely look out for more.

Released 7 yrs ago (9/25/2016 UTC) at Queen Street Rescue in Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Leaving on the bookshelf
Caught at Queen Street Rescue, started reading it on the 905 bus as I headed home, looking good so far. Thanks Edwardstreet.
Quite a cast of characters to keep track of so I found it a challenging read however I persevered because I needed to know what happened to Mickey. Did not enjoy the experience of crawling through the pitch black, foul smelling sewers of London which went on and on ad nauseam. It certainly lived up to its mystery genre with plenty of twists and turns along the way.

A good read that gets better towards the end. Is Mickey alive or dead? That's the key question.
