Thank you soooo much Santa - you’ve been very generous - I know just the place for my bulbs 😊
3 Sept 2021 - I think there’s a big majority of people out there who have heard of Gullivers Travels and of Lilliput, however I may have been the minority in that I had no idea that Lilliput came from this book. And actually I quite I enjoyed the first part of this book and though we might be on to a winner for a classic. The second part where he visits the giants was a bit more of a struggle. By the third part I was felling sorry for his family, and wondering how his wife must of felt as he sailed off in his boat wondering what on Earth he was going to get up to next. And those last two parts were a real struggle to get through, a flying island indeed. And as a horse lover I probably should of enjoyed his last adventure (if that’s what you’d call it) but I just couldn’t get into it. My only thought on that last part was, is that where Yahoo got their name?
