Extended Profile
What to say? I'm a fifty-something hippy/NewAge gal with two grown-up sons, whom I probably embarrass terribly!
I firmly hold to the belief that 'middle-age' is a state of mind more than anything else and I hope never to attain it. Indeed, one of my fiftieth birthday presents to myself was my first tattoo. I've since added another and I'm contemplating a third.....
I play concertina/mouth organ in a barn dance band working primarily in my old stomping ground of Kent. My adored husband Henry plays melodeon (button accordion) and drums in the same band. Nowadays we are taking some bookings in Devon, working with a different line-up from our Kent band. We recently provided a traditional Devon barn dance for the participants in the BBC TV series 'When Love Comes to Town.'
I read a lot even though I haven't released many books - I tend to pass them onto friends then afterwards think 'Damn! I should have registered that book before I passed it on....' I also love baking cakes (for a while I did this professionally), sewing, knitting and handicrafts. I design a lot of my own jewellery, which is unusual in the extreme!
If you find any of my books, please please take the time to drop me a line via the above link. Your message will be passed on to me anonymously, without your e-mail details so I promise you won't be gaining a stalker! It's just nice to know that someone else is gaining some enjoyment from the books I've released. I'll just say 'thanks for responding' and then let you enjoy your new-found book in peace!!
Hope to hear from you soon
Lots of love
