Hello! My name is Kerri, I live in St. John's and am originally from Vancouver. I love the idea of BookCrossing and have been participating off and on for several years now. I tend to use BC more frequently when I travel, it helps me to keep track of books I've read on the road without having to carry them on my back for too long! I find I don't really get too many responses from books I have released in the past, but that doesn't seem to stop me from trying, and if nothing else it keeps a good record of my faves for my own personal use. I love books, and try to release only ones that I have read and care about, but I'd also rather see a book get released on this site rather than simply discarded, so rescue books sometimes come on here.

A few of my favourite books: Anything by John Wyndham or Kurt Vonnegut, The Flame Trees of Thika by Elspeth Huxley, The Drifters by James A. Michener, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams, The Eden Express was great too, by Mark Vonnegut, Knulp (among others), by Herman Hesse, and I lovvvve Laurie Notaro for laughs!! =)

Books I want to read: Tropic of Cancer/Capricorn, more by Jack Kerouac and Bukowski, The Iron Heel, etc etc etc
