A must read for anyone interested in the progressive mood of the early 1960's. Is it a novel?....a series of related short stories?....? I dont't know. It's a brautigan.... This book won't help you catch more fish, but it does have something to do with trout fishing............I rate it a STRONG 10............... A SLENDOR AMERICAN CLASSIC.

A great read. Definitely not your typical novel. It is a great yarn about america.

We left the book inside the international terminal of the Faa'a Airport in Papeete as we were headed back to Los Angeles. We took the book on our honeymoon from Pittsburgh to Rarotonga and then to Tahiti and Moorea.
