I finally got a few minutes to journal most of the books that came in during the last weeks. I am not able to read much as well as getting a new apartment was more difficult than I thought.
Don´t be scared if u sent me another book. The adress everybody knows is my parents home so all books will reach me!
Again ... sorry for the delay. I promise I will be back here soon!

There's another V.I. Warshawski somewhere in Mount TBR -- if I like her, I'll quickly be able to have a second helping!
Since I got the first Paretsky Linguistkris mentioned why not bother and read just another one? :-)

Now that I got the release alert, I realised I never actually wrote a proper journal entry for this book. A very enjoyable collecting of short stories, as I remember! Is this the book that has the alternative tourists' guide to Chicago in the foreword? Good fun, gripping stories and a likable heroine!

Journal Entry 14 by verenka from Wien - irgendwo / Vienna - somewhere, Wien Austria on Thursday, October 25, 2007
I want to read this book during my holiday, so I'll take it to Spain. I don't plan on bringing it back. I'll release it as soon as I'm finished with it. That will be either in Barcelona, Madrid or Sevilla.
Edited to add:
Normally I don't like short stories but these kept me guessing, so I kept reading. By the 4th story I noticed strong similarities in the set up and I could easily solve the riddle. Stilöl: it was fun to read and guess on my little holiday.
I left it behind in an Irish Pub in Barcelona.
