Hooray! The next volume of Chi's Sweet Home is here!!!
I got addicted to this adorable series by the very first chapter, and have been waiting eagerly for the next installment. This one includes such charming episodes as Chi trying to find a cozy place to sleep - on top of Daddy, who doesn't appreciate a kitten lying stretched out across his neck. (I had a cat who used to do that - very sweet for the first few seconds, then increasingly uncomfortable!) Then there's the one where Chi gets into Daddy's office for the first time, and goes nuts exploring - and knocking things down, encountering the tape dispenser, panicking... Poor Chi has a scary time of it for a while, but not to worry. [Unless you're Daddy, and have to clean up the mess!]
Then there's the one about teaching Chi to use a cat-flap, which had me giggling quite a bit. And Chi's first experience with a cat-brush - she goes into ecstasy, the pure, orgasmic, cat-being-brushed mode. And, for the first time in a while, has one of her little flashbacks to her mother, which made me sniffle a bit...
Chi explores the surrouding territory, which includes places she's been before; I was pleased to see that there's an actual map included at the end of the book, as it gave me a much better idea just where Chi's been roaming! [More scary bits ensue as Chi continues to check out her neighborhood, but she makes new friends - and meets an old one as well. And there are little clues scattered around for the reader to pick up, concerning Chi's background... there's actually some tension here {grin}.]
Volumes I've read so far, with my comments:
Volume 1
Volume 2
Volume 3
Volume 4
[See its TV Tropes page here. And I found that there's an anime version (done in very, very short segments), viewable online here.]

I'm taking this book to the special meetup at the Mass. Transportation Building in Boston tonight. Hope someone enjoys it!
Caught at the mini-meet with the English bookcrosser, Cinderess who was visiting Boston. The book looked cute so I scooped it up. Looking forward to reading it!
Cute little book. Off in the mail to the UK as a RABCK for a good friend. Happy reading!!
Thank you for this book. Haven't read any of these before. Will take it to the Leeds convention afterwards I think :) Addendum :This book didn't make it to Leeds as my suitcase was full of the Supply Store so it is now reserved for my Bookcrossing Tree.
