The Stars Shine Down reminded me a little of Barbara Taylor Bradford's A Woman of Substance. All about strong empowering women but not as well written. It was a light, easy read though. I didn't like the female character very much and she should have paid more for her petty grievances.

The Best Laid Plans was the second novel in this Bestseller Volume about a woman seeking revenge on a man who snubbed her 2 weeks before their wedding. He eventually became president and she became the owner of a major newspaper with one thought in mind, to bring about his downfall. It wasn't a bad story actually and had quite a good twist at the end.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left on a bench just outside the little chapel area of the castle
I was on Holiday in England, visiting Warwick Castle, and found this book in a bench of a chapel. I brought it with me to read it at home, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I really enjoyed reading ¨The stars shine down¨. I liked the character of the powerful woman in a bussiness world of men, of course except her begginning. I feel myself a succesfull woman in a men´s world, this book was a little inspiration. And the love story with Philip was quite nice.
The Best Laid Plans: It was a little boring at the beggining, but in the end it was really amusing and surprising. All in all, I quite enjoyed reading this book.
