I am so happy that I found one of my wishlist books today! I'm looking forward to reading this one and will release it for the Canada Day Challenge!

I haven't made any release notes but now this book has another story. Stuart McLean always makes me laugh and I wanted to share this book, so I thought about wild releasing it this week while on a short holiday with my family. We could only stay for two nights at Kinbrook Island Provincial Park, so last night we stayed the night at Dinosaur Provincial park. After supper, we went on a hike around the Badlands and I wild released two of my books on top of the hills overlooking the campground.
This morning, while I was making breakfast, my husband told me that he just saw some kids throw what he thought was my book off the cliff. Dang little monsters! How rude!
My lovely children (herchellettes) climbed up and saved my book and left it on a rock on the path. What good kids I have!
So I sat at my campsite and watched different groups walk pass and look at this book...until, a family of four walked by it. They stopped, and mom looked at it. The two kids looked at it. Dad picked it up and looked at it, he turned it over. He walked away with it! Mom tucked the book into Dad's backpack!! WHOOHOO!! I love seeing one of my books caught in the wild.

Stuart McLean is a great story teller. I have most of his books and have enjoyed them all.
