I'm a crime book addictive and this is an Aussie author, so had to take it.
In 1966, two children disappear from a beach in northern NSW. As a junior police constable, Bill Keliher was there when the children went missing. Now thirty years later, the respected senior police inspector is still enslaved by the mystery.

A good read with great Australian references although a little confusing to start with, trying to get all the characters and events sorted, but well worth persevering.
