This book tells the story of the author's painstaking and visionary journey back to life after being struck by lightning on her Wyoming ranch.
This book is more than just a book about recovering from an injury. What happened to her physically after being struck by lightning is amazing. This is also a spiritual journey dealing with ill health and many encounters with almost dying. The author is a nature writer and writes about the naturally beautiful places that she lives and visits during her convalescence. She lives in Wyoming and California. She visits Alaska later in the book. Her writing can get mystical and poetic, which sometimes I don’t understand.
