It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post. The Blooding of Jack Absolute

Welcome to BookCrossing!
Thanks for taking the time to read my journal. The book you've found is now yours, no strings attached! You can keep it forever or read it and pass it along like I did. It would be great though, if you could take the time to write a quick note so that I know it found a new home. You can stay annoynomous or sign up. It is free to join and no one gets your email address (plus no spam). If you sign up you will also get notifications if anyone else journals about this book, which is exciting. Please consider using Crossing-Guard as your referring member if you do sign up. Who knows how far this book will travel...

This is a great book! I read it a couple years back and remember it as an exciting adventure. This is actually a prequel so I tracked down the later book and enjoyed it just as much.
I passed this book to a friend. I hope that you enjoy this as much as I did!
An okay book. I think I would need to read the first book just to understand the context of the character better.

I just realized I didn't know your BC name - I'm interested to know the backstory to "locker-monster". It was nice to meet you today and I am looking forward to reading this historical fiction. Thanks locker-monster.
The author vividly portrayed England and Canada of the 1700's and Jack's adventures kept the plot zipping along like a movie.
I enjoyed this roller-coaster tale of Jack's life and I am anxious to read the next book.

I picked this book up at the BC meeting at the Joshua Tree today. I am adding it to Mt.TBR
I was lucky enough to score myself a copy of this book at a library sale for 50 cents to read over the summer (when I have more time). So, guilt free I can bring this book to the Bookcrossing meeting in June to find another reader before the Canada Day release.
Yet another great Canadian read. If you've been hunting for this one come and see me at the Canada Day release challenge at Prince's Island Park, we'll be there at around 11 am.
