Purchased this from Waterstones just before Valentine's Day because I was in a romantic mood and have wanted to read this book for a while. Unfortunately it may be on my TBR pile for a long time.

It definitely was on my TBR pile for a long time...only took me nearly 14 years to get round to it! I wanted to like the story and it did keep me engaged but it was missing something, which I can't figure out. I wanted to be invested in the love story but I just couldn't understand why Florentino Ariza would continue to 'love' Fermina Daza. A tale that will stay with me but not for the right reasons!
