Releasing in the YA Crossover Bookbox organized by z3CarGaragez. Enjoy!
One of my daughters thought this book looked interesting so we picked it out of the box. Thank you :)
My daughter liked this one - she ended up picking up a copy at a library sale to keep (she actually re-reads some of her books!)
I am taking this copy to the Calgary Bookcrossing meeting at the Joshua Tree Cafe to find a new reader since I can read my daughters copy anytime :)
Minerva101 got me reading Sci-Fi so I'll give this junior Sci-Fi a look. Thanks DK1010 and Minerva101.
An interesting story with unusual twists. I didn't care for the ending as it left me with too many unanswered questions.
I have noticed a few tiny ants in my basement lately though... I think I'll have a closer look in the dark corners...

Took the book to the Calgary BC Meetup at the Joshua Tree Cafe today.
Today I went to the Calgary Bookcrossing meetup with the intention of leaving my books there and come home with an empty bookbag. Yeah Right! That is ok because I got some of my old books back that I really do have to read; some books for my herchellettes to read while camping and some books that really look too good to pass up. Thanks everyone
My daughter devoured this while camping, thank you for keeping the "Are we there yets" at bay.

Picked up at the get together
This was an interesting little story, but if felt like I wanted a bit more depth towards the end.
Thanks for the interesting read!

Taken to get together
Picked up at today's Calgary bookcrossing meetup. Looking forward to the read!
Thank goodness this was a fast read. This book sucked me in so quickly I would've stayed up so late to find out what happened, but I ended up finishing it in an evening... I'm not sure what happened at the end. There were so many unanswered questions!
More a kids book than a young adult but a cute book nonetheless.
Will be brought to the next Calgary bookcrossing meetup and handed off or handed back.

Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing September meet-up. I've read one of William Sleator's other books before and I remember it being good, so I bet this will be the same.
Such a plain title, but such a cool story. I always enjoy it when a plot messes with time. It's not time travel, but it was fun to see Annie moving around while the rest of the world was frozen. I couldn't stand her aunt, but I guess that's the point. You're so happy when Annie decides to run off and join her uncle Marco on an adventure. Was there a sequel? Because the story just ends.
Passing on this book the next reader at the Calgary BookCrossing October meet-up.
I'm so sorry - we left to go to Edmonton right after the meeting and I forgot I only journalled the books I let Dad read!
Taking to the December meeting! This was kind of fun once I realized that it wasn't the book I thought it was when i picked it up.

I went to the December meeting at Cravings and came home with TWENTY BOOKS!!! Now for the reading of them, plus the many on my pile.
Fast read with an interesting premise. I agree that the end was hmmmm.
Taking to the November meetup at Cravings Restaurant.
Taking this back to the December meetup of Book Crossing at Cravings.
Picked this book up at the December meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, held at Cravings Market Restaurant.
This was a cute YA sci-fi. I will be sharing it with more members of the Calgary BookCrossing community.
"Annie's Uncle Marco goes on one of his mysterious trips, leaving her in charge of two sealed boxes on one condition: she must not open either one while he is away. But she is tempted...and soon she has unleashed the unspeakable. The creatures inside the box are crab-like and grotesque. And they possess a power Annie could never have imagined: the power to transmute time."
