Got his book for 10 cents at a garage sale and it almost ended up killing me! Or at least bruising me! I bought a few books that day, and put them near the bottom of the stairs to be taken up at some future time. A couple of days later I was coming downstairs with a large basket of laundry and managed to step on the pile, this book was on top and the cover slid out from under my foot like a banana peel! I sat down *hard*! No damage to me but bruised pride and a bumped elbow, but the front cover of the book had torn off completely, along with the spine and I had to hot glue it back on, and it still needs a bit of tape.
This book seems to be aimed at young adults. From the back cover "The Princess Cimerone has never met anyone like the dragon Kazul. But then, she's never met a witch, a jinn, a death-dealing talking bird, or a stone prince either".

I grabbed this from AwesomeAud last night.
Yes, it can be for young adults, but the younger young adults. I think I read this when I was about 13.
I'll be reading this again and then putting it into the teen bookbox when it comes to me.
Thanks!
