For several years Robin Cooper has been plaguing department stores, collector's groups, associations and a certain children's book publisher with his letters. From the Campaign for Courtesy to the British Halibut Association - no one is safe.

Whether he is organising a surprise clarinet party for his wife, designing scarecrows made from beef or merely looking for his lost shoelace, Robin Cooper is clearly a man with far too much time on his hands....

Everyone in my house has read and enjoyed this - my husband, son, daughter and myself. Humorous, light read. Ideal for dipping into.

This is now off to Ri who won it in a non-fiction swap on BookObsessed.

This arrived a couple days ago. Thanks, Candy! I put it near the computer to journal and wound up reading nearly half the book! So funny! This is utter nonsense and the perfect foil to some of the heady things I've been reading and doing for work. Thanks for the diversion!!

I just spent an enjoyable quiet afternoon reading this whole book! I laughed aloud several times. My 3 year old came over to see what was so funny and wanted me to read it to him. Fortunately, since I think this may not be particularly funny for him yet, there were several pages with funny drawings that he found quite funny as well. Perhaps he thinks his mom is a little nutty to be laughing at a ping pong paddle named Parmaynu!

Anyhow, this book is moving to the honored place in the loo to delight my husband and guests alike! ;) Thanks again for sharing, Candy!
