In this light novel Sarah takes a temporary job helping a cranky older woman clear out her family home for sale, and ends up finding a way to save the house and to heal a 50-year-old rift. Quilting is the catalyst for this resolution, after Sarah negotiates quilting lessons as part of her pay.

I enjoyed the quilting lore and the stories of the old woman's life, told during the lessons. Having made a few quilts myself, I was astounded at the speed with which Sarah finished her first effort, even with help. But the push to finish in time for a wedding anniversary brings people together.

Now, where can I leave this where a quilter's likely to find it?

I'm at least the third reader of this book, which has traveled from Florida to New Jersey before reaching me. I'll be releasing it soon into the wild.
