Received from solittletime at a MeetUp. Another of her efforts to convert me to mysteries??
I'm new to mysteries. Mrs. Pollifax doesn't grab me the way some other female sleuths do. Just a personal preference.
Will see if Hexaba already has a copy. Otherwise I will release it somewhere. It looks like a quick read, maybe I'll read it before I release, hey, wait, must practice self-control.....
Mrs Pollifax's adventures are always fun to read. In this new adventure she accompanies her young friend Kadi Hopkirk, who she finds in her pantry, to the African county of Ugangiba.
The adventures she gets herself into always make a good read. Since Mrs Pollifax is older the most of the popular sleths of todays writing, perhaps some people wont enjoy it... but I always enjoy reading about what she is up too. It gives you hope that when we are all old and gray, perhaps we can become a spy for the government :)
