pretty good book slowed in the middle but the last 2 chapters were great! 40 page chapters by the way!

Slammerkin arrived today from a kind BCer in Arizona. Thank you! I jumped right into this book. It is definitely a ride! I'll write more when I finish it.
Wow! What a powerful story! This is the book I'd like to give to men who say they understand what women's lives are like....

I got another copy of this book from cestmoi, and I am going to hand this one off to my best friend, BecfromMD, to take with her on her trip to France and Israel.

Wow, I am on a year delay with this one.
It was a quick, entertaining read; well-written with some historical perspective. Not my favorite, though.

Received from BecFromMD in a postal trade. I think this is the most-traveled book I've "caught". How exciting.
Update 9/2008: I tried to read it, but just couldn't get into the story. Time to move on....I'll let it into the wild sometime soon & will make release notes at that time
Update 5/3/2009: This is a first---I had a catch before I got a chance to journal the release! Cool. I'm so glad to know there are bookcrossers at the Healthplex. I'll leave more books there in the future for sure.

Found Slammerkin at the HealthPlex Gym and Spa in Springfield, Pa. while I was drying off from a relaxing steam bath. Will read and release in the next two weeks from Lansdowne, Pa.
