Epiphane Otos est plus qu'hideux. On ne peut imaginer son aspect qu'en sachant qu'il déclenche l'épouvante sur son passage. Et il a l'idée originale de tomber amoureux d'une jeune femme très belle, Ethel, qui ne prête pas attention à son aspect.

J'ajouterai que j'ai beaucoup ri, que cette lecture a été un vrai divertissement, et que j'en lirai des extraits à la prochaine soirée-lecture d'Aix.
