Welcome to BookCrossing!! If you are already a member, 'Hello!', if you have only just found this lovely site, welcome!

Congratulations on finding a released BookCrossing book! You can now register on the site, if you want to. It's free to register, but of course you can remain anon. It's up to you!

But now that you are here, and have found a book that has been registered on BookCrossing.com why not write a little journal entry about the book. Where you found it, what you thought of it, anything you like really!

We members of BookCrossing love to see where our books go to, and who finds them! When you have left a journal entry for the book you have just found, why not have a browse around the website and forum, to see what we are all about. And once you have read the book, why not release it back into the wild? There are many ways to do this, why not have a look at the BookCrossing forum for tips and ideas? Don't forget to make release notes on the book if you do release it, that way we can keep a track of where it goes!

If you do decide to join, please add me as your referring member, RuthyToothy. Thanks!

Most of all, enjoy the book, and enjoy BookCrossing!

Journal Entry 6 by rem_XGD-219596 on Thursday, July 3, 2008
Just realised that I had not yet journalled my reading of the first volume of this epic. I have to admit that I found it hard to get into. The beginning is a big lengthy and the style of the author grated on me to start with, especially when he nicely implies things in his writing and then suddenly feels the need to explain them as if all his readers were idiots. But once I got used to that and the story began to be more catching I really enjoyed it and now can't wait to start reading the 2nd volume. It's great fantasy...

Journal Entry 9 by billhookbabe on Saturday, August 9, 2008
This arrived a few days ago but I haven't been able to get to a cmputer. I have read the Belgariad before and look forward to a re-read of the tale of Garion. Thanks RuthyToothy. One book to finish before this one.

Journal Entry 10 by billhookbabe on Sunday, August 31, 2008
I took this away with me on holiday and really enjoyed reading this. I had read it before so the names and history were familiar and made it more enjoyable to remind myself of the the young Garion. As soon as I have an address I will send it on.
